Context
A PoC to materialize a business vision
A fast-growing startup sought to convince its first users by offering a compelling Proof of Concept (PoC).
-
The idea: demonstrate the value of a goal management tool, both strategic and operational, targeting all levels of a company: from employees to the executive committee.
-
The timeline: tight. The product needed to be advanced enough quickly to interest large organizations, often cautious about emerging solutions.
-
The challenge: build a solid technical foundation to support the product’s evolution.
-
The final objective: present key features, impress from the first demonstration and involve Early Adopters in a co-construction process.
Our approach
An agile approach for a quick and robust result
We opted for the agile methodology: each sprint was conducted by following the objectives identified with the Product Owner, aiming to minimize technical debt.
We relied on Vue.js for the frontend and Django for the backend, to deploy quickly and cleanly, with unit tests and continuous code reviews.
From a user experience perspective, we designed and delivered a polished design, close to the final product to immediately engage prospects.
Finally, we gathered concrete feedback from the client by providing them with a pre-production instance which allowed us to make rapid adjustments.
Results
A successful PoC, a springboard for the future
The startup now has an operational PoC with a polished design that gives users a clear vision of the final version. The standout feature, a hierarchical goal manager, generated significant interest during the first demonstrations, reinforcing the product’s credibility.
The product is now ready to be deployed in the commercial field with solid arguments: a functional PoC, a compelling design and an architecture designed to grow with users’ needs.
